PATH Bangladesh Distributes Eid Gifts to Children with Special Needs in Khulna

PATH Bangladesh distributed Eid gifts, including new clothing and food items, to children with special needs at the Labour Directorate office ground near Rupsha. The 2026 programme was held to help build a more inclusive society.

Nazrul Islam Manju, Administrator of Khulna City Corporation (KCC), attended as chief guest. Professor Dr. Muhammad Yahiya Akhtar, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Chittagong, inaugurated the event.

Nurul Imam Khan Mitu, President of UNESCO Khulna, and Dr. Rifat Jahan Promi attended as special guests.

The children received the clothing and food packages at the event. Organisers said the programme was meant to bring the joy of Eid to children who are often left out of festive celebrations, and to raise awareness in society about inclusion.

PATH Bangladesh is a government-registered, youth-led non-profit. It works to spread awareness in society as well as to support vulnerable groups.
