PATH Bangladesh organized a free medical camp at Comilla Zilla School on August 26, 2024, to help communities severely affected by recent floods. The initiative aimed to provide immediate healthcare support to those affected by the disaster.
Volunteer doctors and healthcare professionals provided free medical consultations, essential medicines, and health advice to local residents. The camp treated waterborne diseases, skin infections, fever, and other flood-related health issues, with a particular emphasis on children, women, and the elderly.
Many of the areas reached by the camp had not yet received any aid, so PATH Bangladesh's effort was one of the first on the ground.
PATH Bangladesh would like to thank all of the volunteers, healthcare professionals, and donors who helped make this life-saving initiative possible.
