PATH Bangladesh participates in dialogues with the government, lawmakers, and other stakeholders to push for legal reforms and improvements in governance. Provide research and data to support evidence-based policymaking. We also work with lawmakers to ensure that laws are inclusive and protect the rights of marginalized groups, including women, children, ethnic minorities, and persons with disabilities.
PATH Bangladesh promotes civic education programs that encourage citizens to engage with the legal system, participate in democratic processes, and hold public institutions accountable for upholding the rule of law. We also work to build the capacity of local CSOs (civil society organizations) that are engaged in legal advocacy, human rights protection, and justice sector reforms.
