Rule of Law

Promoting Rule of Law.

Promoting justice and legal awareness for all. No matter who you are, as a human you have your own rights to seek justice in every situation. PATH Bangladesh participates in dialogues with the government, lawmakers, and other stakeholders to push for legal reforms and improvements in governance. Provide research and data to support evidence-based policymaking. We also work with lawmakers to ensure that laws are inclusive and protect the rights of marginalised groups, including women, children, ethnic minorities, and persons with disabilities. PATH Bangladesh promotes civic education programmes that encourage citizens to engage with the legal system, participate in democratic processes, and hold public institutions accountable for upholding the rule of law. We also work to build the capacity of local CSOs that are engaged in legal advocacy, human rights protection, and justice sector reforms. Provide training on advocacy, legal literacy, and community mobilisation.
